Sen. Bill Frist (R-TN) "left the door open" when asked about running for governor of Tennessee, saying it's something he'd "consider for the future," though he hadn't given it much thought yet, the Tennessean reports.
Frist would likely be "the only Republican in the field who has won statewide office" and his "ability to raise money, in addition to his personal wealth, would change the race."
