According to an instant SurveyUSA poll, Rudy Giuliani convincingly won tonight's Republican presidential debate. Giuliani was picked as the winner by 30% of those in California who watched, followed by Mitt Romney at 12% and Sen. John McCain at 11%. All other candidates were in single digits.
The Hotline notes that of the top three leading candidates, Giuliani "seemed the most confident, but his cultural liberalism was laid out for all to see," Romney "looked to be charged up, if too practiced," and McCain, "with a scratchy voice, seemed a little nervous at first, but he was in the zone by the end."
