Record Number Say Country on Wrong Track

A new CBS News/New York Times poll shows President Bush's job approval rating at just 30%. Furthermore, just 24% believe the country is headed in the right direction while 72% believe it is on the wrong track -- "the highest number ever recorded" by the poll.

Key finding: 76% believe the Iraq war is going badly, rising 10 points in the last month. "Even a majority of Republicans, 52%, now say the war is going at least somewhat badly."
