Clinton, Giuliani Expand National Leads

A new Harris Interactive Poll shows Sen. Hillary Clinton for the first time earning a majority of support among Democrats with 52%. She's followed by Sen. Barack Obama at 29% and John Edwards at 11%. None of the other Democratic candidates scored more than 3%.

In the GOP race, Rudy Giuliani expanded his lead by three points with 34% support, followed by Fred Thompson at 20%, Mitt Romney at 16%, Sen. John McCain at 13%, Mike Huckabee at 9%, and Rep. Ron Paul at 6%.

Key finding: Thompson has dropped 12 points in the poll since he formally announced his candidacy in September.
