Access Hollywood says Sen. Hillary Clinton will be a surprise guest when David Letterman returns to the air tonight. Last week Letterman reached agreement with the union representing the show's writers who had been on strike.

There were no details on whether Clinton would actually leave Iowa to appear in Letterman's New York studio or whether she'll do an interview via satellite.
