A new American Research Group survey in Florida finds Sen. John McCain leading the Republican primary race with 29% support, followed by Mitt Romney at 22%, Mike Huckabee at 17%, and Rudy Giuliani at 16%.
Key findings: McCain leads Romney among men 29% to 24%, with 15% for Giuliani and 14% for Huckabee. McCain leads among women with 28%, followed by Huckabee at 21%, Romney at 19%, and Giuliani at 18%.
The only good news for Giuliani in this poll is that he's tied with McCain among early voters (21% of the sample) with 28% each, followed by Romney at 21% and Huckabee at 12%. However, among voters who will go to the polls next Tuesday, McCain leads with 29%, followed by Romney at 22%, Huckabee at 18%, and Giuliani at 13%.
