Renzi Indicted

"A federal grand jury in Arizona has indicted Rep. Rick Renzi (R-AZ), on conspiracy, fraud, extortion and money laundering charges after an investigation lasting more than a year," CQ Politics reports.

"A 35-count indictment unsealed Friday accuses Renzi of conspiring with two former business partners, James W. Sandlin and Andrew Beardall, in a land swap scheme. The indictment also charges that Renzi concealed illegal profits from Congress and the public."
