Ten donors to Sen. Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign "offered Wednesday to give Michigan $12 million to hold a rerun of its Democratic primary as she and rival Barack Obama traded sharp words over the proposed June 3 contest," according to the Los Angeles Times.
Govs. Edward Rendell (D) of Pennsylvania and Jon Corzine (D) of New Jersey gave Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm (D) "a list of 10 people who would guarantee the state up to $12 million in donations to hold the election."
