Johnson Will Back Clinton if She Wins South Dakota

Sen. Tim Johnson (D-SD) -- also a Democratic superdelegate from South Dakota -- supports Sen. Barack Obama for president, but political strategist Steve Jarding told the Sioux Falls Argus Leader that Johnson will vote for Sen. Hillary Clinton at the national convention if Clinton wins the June 3 primary in South Dakota.

Said Jarding: "This might be one where she could surprise people."
