Congressman Suggests Gore Could Be Nominee

Rep. Tim Mahoney (D-FL) told Scripps Howard that if the Democratic convention is brokered, Al Gore could become the compromise nominee.

Said Mahoney: "If it (the nomination process) goes into the convention, don't be surprised if someone different is at the top of the ticket."
