According to the latest American Research Group survey in North Carolina, Sen. Barack Obama leads Sen. Hillary Clinton, 50% to 42%.
Key findings: Obama leads among men 54% to 39% and he leads among women 47% to 44%. Clinton leads among white voters 62% to 27% and Obama leads among African American voters 88% to 9%. African Americans account for 36% of likely Democratic primary voters. Obama leads 55% to 37% among likely primary voters under 50 and Clinton leads 48% to 45% among likely primary voters 50 and older.
