According to Matt Drudge, Sen. Hillary Clinton's campaign is trying to dramatically downplay expectations in North Carolina saying her inner circle "now fears a stinging defeat is likely." However, they still predict a win in Indiana.

The Washington Post: "Clinton needs at least one victory today to keep alive a rationale to stay in the race. Obama could effectively shut down the nomination battle by winning in both states, and Clinton has been equivocal about whether she will keep going if she loses both."

The New York Times: "A double Obama victory would almost certainly mean lights out for the Clinton campaign."

Political Insider: "Smaller wins for each candidate in their favored state would just mean that the race will continue. And recent polls suggest it's probably the most likely outcome."
