Split Decision

Sen. Hillary Clinton wins in Indiana, according to projections by CBS News.

Sen. Barack Obama wins in North Carolina, according to projections by ABC News.

The margins of victory are still unknown -- but wins are wins and the campaign will likely continue.

Marc Ambinder: "The Obama campaign expects to end the night with an expanded lead in the pledged delegate count and having erased Clinton's popular vote gains out of Pennsylvania."

After tonight, the Obama campaign suggests they will be between 35 and 43 pledged delegates away from winning a majority. To buy time -- and deny Obama the chance to reach that mark -- Clinton operatives have tried in recent days to move the goal posts and include Michigan and Florida delegates in the magic number.
