Ventura Hints at Senate Bid in Minnesota

Last night on Larry King Live, former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura (I) hinted at possibly running for U.S. Senate as an independent.

When asked about the current race between Sen. Norm Coleman (R-MN) and Al Franken (D), Ventura said, "Well, I think the better question to ask is what will it be like if Ventura comes in in July, because that's when the filing date is."

When pressed if he's serious about making a run, Ventura said, "I'm weighing it right now... I'll decide in July when filing happens. Because to me, you shouldn't be campaigning before you can file for the job."
