Russert is Dead

Meet the Press host Tim Russert has died of a heart attack, according to the NBC News. The Buffalo News has more details.

Tom Brokaw announced the news on air: "This news division will not be the same without his strong, clear voice. He'll be missed as he was loved -- greatly."

Russert was easily the most influential political journalist of the last generation. It will be hard to follow the presidential election without him.
