Sen. John McCain moved from being behind by 6 points among "likely" voters a
month ago to a 4-point lead over Sen. Barack Obama, 49% to 45%,
in the latest USA Today/Gallup Poll. The poll was taken over the weekend.
McCain still trails among
the broader universe of "registered" voters, 44% to 47%.
This poll is separate from the Gallup Tracking poll which today shows Obama ahead by 8 points among registered voters, 48% to 40%.
