Most Americans Want Debate

A new Marist Poll finds that 53% of Americans want Friday's presidential debate to go on as scheduled, while 42% agree with Sen. John McCain that it should be postponed.

Interestingly, 48% of voters expect Sen. Barack Obama to win the first debate while 37% believe McCain will be victorious.

In a head-to-head nationwide match up, Obama leads McCain among likely voters, 49% to 44%.
