Still a Dead Heat in NY-20

The New York state Board of Elections reports that Scott Murphy (D) and Jim Tedisco (R) are tied in the NY-20 special election with 77,225 votes each.

The race will be decided by absentee ballots -- of which approximately 3,000 have been submitted by Republicans, 2,200 by Democrats and 940 by people affiliated with neither major party.

However, the Albany Times Union reports that the county canvassing board are still changing their numbers and while the race may not be an exact tie, it's still a toss up.
