Burris Has Not Ruled Out Running

Sen. Roland Burris (D-IL) told The Hill he would like to keep his seat in the U.S. Senate, "but will make a formal decision whether to seek reelection in the next few weeks based on his ability to raise money for a campaign."

Said Burris: "I'm moving into a phase now where I will be talking to people and assessing the opportunities in terms of my ability to raise the funds and stay here."

However, Democrats have signaled they may not want Burris to come back and polls have him running behind nearly every potential challenger.
