The More Interesting Political Dinner?

While most journalists are focused on the annual White House Correspondents' Dinner in Washington, D.C. tonight, the political dinner worth watching might instead be in Kentucky.

There's been speculation that Sen. Jim Bunning (R-KY) will use the annual Kentucky GOP Lincoln Day Dinner to announce his retirement and endorse his protege, Secretary of State Trey Grayson (R), to replace him.

But with Bunning's Senate colleague, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), also in attendence, things could get heated. Bunning blasted McConnell earlier this week for being a bad leader of Senate Republicans. For his part, McConnell has done everything in his power to try to force Bunning into retirement.

It's safe to say they will not be seated at the same table.
