Golisano Leaves New York

Ending any speculation about another possible run for governor, Rochester businessman Thomas Golisano (R) said he will be moving his legal residence to Florida to escape New York state taxes, the Buffalo News reports.

There has been speculation that Golisano, a registered Republican, might try to run as the GOP candidate in 2010 for the first time after failing three previous attempts on the Independence Party line.
