No Primary in New York?

Ben Smith catches interesting remarks made last night by Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) in which she seems to believe there will not be a Democratic gubernatorial primary in New York next year as most political observers expect.

What's not clear, however, is who she thinks will not run, Gov. David Paterson (D) or likely challenger Andrew Cuomo (D).
