A new Quinnipiac poll finds American voters approve of President Obama's pick of Judge Sonia Sotomayor to the U.S. Supreme Court by a 54% to 24% margin, with 22% still undecided.
Democrats support the nomination by 81% to 3% and independent voters by 50% to 26%, while Republicans oppose it 46% to 26%. Men approve of the nomination 48% to 31% while women approve 59% to 18%.
