Dodd Backs Gay Marriage

Sen. Christopher Dodd (D-CT) issued a statement backing same sex marriage because his "young daughters are growing up in a different reality than I did."

Ben Smith: "One of the remarkable things about the speed of change in the marriage issue is that it's gone, in a year or two, from being something that could only be supported by people without higher ambitions to something embraced amid a tough reelection fight."
