Randal Pinkett, a winner of The Apprentice reality show, "has emerged as the front-runner" to become New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine's (D) running mate in November, the Asbury Park Press reports.
"An announcement that Corzine has selected Pinkett to run for lieutenant governor on the party ticket was expected to coincide with the visit of President Barack Obama to New Jersey Thursday."
Pinkett's website describes him as an "entrepreneur, speaker, author, scholar and community servant."
