Christie Leads by 8 in New Jersey

A new DailyKos/Research 2000 poll in New Jersey finds Chris Christie (R) leading Gov. Jon Corzine (D), 48% to 40%.

Analysis: "Surprising little movement in the last several months. Corzine is wallowing in the panic zone for an incumbent, and Christie is hovering around the 50% mark. This poll is actually the most optimistic for Corzine from the most recent batch."

Update: A new Rasmussen Reports survey finds Christie leading by 13 points, 50% to 37%.
