Garamendi, Harmer Win Special Election Primary

California Lt. Gov. John Garamendi (D) captured the Democratic nomination in a CA-10 special election primary yesterday, making him the automatic favorite for the seat formerly held by Ellen Tauscher (D), CQ Politics reports.

Garamendi will face businessman David Harmer (R) in the Nov. 3 general election.
