A new Rasmussen Reports survey is the first of Virginia since the Washington Post published a story over the weekend about gubernatorial candidate Bob McDonnell's (R) college thesis -- and it suggests that the story hasn't hurt him.
McDonnell continues to lead Creigh Deeds (D) by a solid margin, 51% to 42%.
When asked whether news about McDonnell's thesis would impact how they voted, 49% said it wasn't important while 36% said it could make a difference.
