As a follow up to his devastating trailing single digit analysis of Strategic Vision polling, Nate Silver did the same for Quinnipiac and finds the Strategic Vision data "is much, much, much more nonrandom than the Quinnipiac data, as compared to a uniform distribution."
The bottom line: "It is highly unlikely, in my opinion, that the distribution of the results from the Strategic Vision polls are reflective of any sort of ordinary and organic, mathematical process."
Meanwhile, Strategic Vision CEO David Johnson told The Hill he disputed Silver's suggestion.
Said Johnson: "He's
got a good reputation, but I stand by our work. We've
done the work, and we can prove that we've done it. The other thing is
- if you look at our results, we've been accurate."
Of course, the issue at hand is Strategic Vision hasn't shown their work.
