Dede Scozzafava (R) "is running dangerously low on campaign cash" in New York's upcoming NY-23 special election race, Politico reports.
GOP sources acknowledged "that she's unable to compete financially with her two opponents" and the RNC isn't helping.
Bill Owens (D) is outspending Scozzafava on television advertising by a nearly 12-1 ratio and she's also being outspent by Conservative Party nominee Doug Hoffman, "the third-party candidate who has peeled off conservative support from the moderate state assemblywoman."
