Specter Sees Rough Year for Incumbents

In an interview this afternoon, Political Wire asked Sen. Arlen Specter (D-PA) about the Susquehanna poll released this morning that showed just 31% of Pennsylvanians think he deserves to be re-elected.

Said Specter: "Everybody's poll number's have been going down... from the president on down. It's a tough year for incumbents everywhere... but these polls fluctuate."
