Bloomberg Considering New Jersey Endorsement

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg could soon wade into New Jersey politics and make an endorsement in the race for governor, reports Politico.

"But it's not the major party candidates that would receive the biggest boost from the Republican-turned-independent -- it's Chris Daggett, the independent candidate in New Jersey who is now polling in the low double-digits and who has helped turn the campaign into a dead heat."

Asked if Bloomberg could back Daggett, a mayor's adviser said: "Nothing ruled in or out."

As we noted earlier this week, a high profile endorsement of Daggett could completely shake up the governor's race.
