Sanford Impeachment Resolution Not Allowed

An attempt to introduce a resolution to impeach embattled South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford was ruled out of order by state House Speaker Bobby Harrell (R), reports The State.

"House leaders have said they want to wait until the Ethics Commission finishes it work before considering impeachment, meaning the House would not consider the issue until January."
