Specter's Plunge Continues

A new Franklin & Marshall College poll finds just 23% of Pennsylvania voters think Sen. Arlen Specter (D-PA) should be re-elected and 66% think it's time for a change. His favorable rating is now just 28%, down from 48% in March.

In a Democratic primary, Specter leads Rep. Joe Sestak (D), 37% to 18%, but 47% are still undecided.

In a general election match up, Specter edges Pat Toomey (R), 33% to 31%, with 30% undecided.
