A Deal with Lieberman?

Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT) "has reached a private understanding with Majority Leader Harry Reid that he will not block a final vote on health care reform," The Hill reports.

"Lieberman's vote is crucial because he likely represents the 60th vote needed to end debate in the Senate. Without him, Reid would be forced to fish on the other side of the aisle for a vote, something that has not come easily this Congress."

Update: Lieberman communications director Marshall Wittmann emails First Read, "If you believe this story is true, you will also believe that I am replacing A-Rod in game six of the series."
