Automated Polls Got it Right in New Jersey

Last week we noted a strange split in the polling averages from New Jersey.

Polls conducted by live interviewers -- such as Quinnipiac, Monmouth, FDU -- had Jon Corzine leading by about four points. The polls conducted by IVR -- the so-called "robopolls" from Rasmussen, SurveyUSA and Public Policy Polling -- had Chris Christie leading by 3 points.

It's probably time the automated firms got a little more respect from the traditional media.
