Rell Will Call It Quits

Connecticut Gov. Jodi Rell (R) announced that she will not seek re-election as governor in 2010, the Hartford Courant reports.

Said Rell: "After much soul-searching, and discussion with my family, I have decided not to seek re-election next year."

Ned Lamont (D) announced last week he was exploring a run for governor.
