Internal Poll Shows Coakley with Strong Lead

Martha Coakley (D) "enjoys a solid, double-digit lead in the Massachusetts Senate special election," according to an internal Democratic poll obtained by Politico.

The survey, conducted by Democratic pollster Mark Mellman, has Coakley leading Scott Brown (R), 50% to 36%.

This poll is very similar to a Boston Globe poll released yesterday that showed Coakley with a 15 point lead.
