Obama Still Ahead of the Republicans

Though a new Fox News poll shows President Obama losing re-election to a generic opponent, 47% to 43%, he trounces each of the real Republican candidates.

Obama beats Mitt Romney, 47% to 35%, tops Sarah Palin, 55% to 31%, and crushes Newt Gingrich, 53% to 29%.

Meanwhile, in a congressional ballot test, 38% say they want Democrats to win this year's congressional elections, 37% want Republicans to win and the remaining 25% say "neither" or are unsure.
