In the wake of the Supreme Court's decision scaling back certain campaign finance limits for corporations and labor unions, Democrats are considering a slew of legislative solutions "to blunt the impact of the Court's ruling," according to The Hill.
Said DCCC Chairman Chris Van Hollen (D-MD): "So we`re looking at ways, for example, to require shareholder approval before a company can run an ad, to require that the CEO of the company get on the air and say, I'm the CEO of X Corporation, and I approve this ad."
