Do Democrats Want Lincoln to Retire?

The Arkansas Times reports a "well-known Washington insider" says that the DSCC is trying to talk Sen. Blanche Lincoln (D-AR) out of running for re-election.

Possible replacements: Wesley Clark or Rep. Mike Ross.

However, "with $5 million or so in campaign cash, chairmanship of the Senate Ag commitee, two terms in office and an as yet unknown and potentially wack-o opponent, Lincoln seems a long-shot for quitting."

A Lincoln spokesman denied the rumor to The Hill.
