A new Mason-Dixon poll in Nevada shows Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) leads his re-election race with 36% when matched against a generic Republican who would get 32% and a Tea Party candidate who would get 18%.
However, in head-to-head match ups with named Republicans, Reid continues to trail by significant margins. Sue Lowden (R) bests Reid, 52% to 39%, while Danny Tarkanian (R) would beat Reid, 51% to 40%.
In a GOP primary, Lowden has opened a lead of 47% to 29% over Tarkanian among likely Republican primary voters.
