Toomey Widens Lead in Pennsylvania

A new Susquehanna Polling & Research poll in Pennsylvania finds Pat Toomey (R) leading Sen. Arlen Specter (D) in the U.S. Senate race by ten points, 48% to 38%.

Last month, Toomey held a six point lead.

In the Democratic primary, Specter leads Sestak by 14 points, 42% to 28%, a margin very similar to most other recent polls. A Rasmussen survey yesterday found the race a dead heat.
