A new Salt Lake Tribune poll of Utah Republican delegates shows Sen. Bob Bennett (R-UT) is on the verge of becoming the state's first incumbent U.S. senator to lose his party's nomination in seven decades.
Mike Lee (R) leads the GOP field with 37%, followed by Tim Bridgewater at 20% and Bennett in third at just 16%.
Said pollster Brad Coker: "Bennett has almost no shot of getting more votes at the convention than Bridgewater and Lee."
This poll confirms the results of a Deseret News poll released yesterday.
