Whitman Maintains Lead Over Poizner in Primary

A new DailyKos/Research 2000 poll in California finds Meg Whitman (R) leads Steve Poizner (R) in the Republican primary for governor, 46% to 36%, with another 18% still undecided.

The primary is on June 8.

In general election match ups, Jerry Brown (D) leads Whitman, 46% to 42%, and beats Poizner, 47% to 36%.
