Bennet, Buck Lead for Senate in Colorado

A new Denver Post poll in Colorado finds Sen. Michael Bennet (D-CO) is well ahead of primary challenger Andrew Romanoff (D), 53% to 36%, among likely voters.

In the Republican race, Ken Buck (R) holds a large lead over Jane Norton (R), 53% to 37%.

The primaries are Aug. 10.

However, "either Democrat has an uphill fight in a state where sentiment has turned strongly against the Obama administration. Both Bennet and Romanoff would lose to either Buck or Norton, according to the poll, though some of the results are within the margin of error."
