McCollum Now Leads Scott in Florida Primary

A new Mason-Dixon poll in Florida shows Bill McCollum (R) leading Rick Scott (R) for the Republican gubernatorial nomination, 34% to 30% -- a huge shift from just a week ago when Scott led 37% to 31%.

In general election match ups, Alex Sink (D) now leads McCollum, 37% to 35%, but crushes Scott, 40% to 24%. Independent Lawton Chiles III (I) would take 13% of the vote if McCollum were on the ballot, and 17% if Scott ran.
