Senate Candidate Claims Sex Charges Politically Motivated

Eric Deaton -- the Constitution Party candidate for U.S. Senate in Ohio whose campaign poster says, "Return moral citizens to office" -- was indicted for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, the Dayton Daily News reports.

The indictment alleges that Deaton, 42, engaged in sexual conduct with a girl who was between the ages of 13 and 15. Deaton faces five years in prison and a $10,000 fine if convicted.

Said Deaton: "I think this is politically motivated."
