Rubio Pulls Away in Florida

A new CNN/Time/Opinion Research poll in Florida shows Marco Rubio (R) leading the U.S. Senate race with 42%, followed by Gov. Charlie Crist (I) at 31% and Rep. Kendrick Meek (D) at 23%.

Said pollster Keating Holland: "Crist had a lead among independents at the start of the month, but Rubio now appears to have the edge among this key group. And with Meek holding a majority of the vote among Democrats, that narrows Crist's options heading into the final turn."

In the race for governor, Rick Scott (R) edges Alex Sink (D), 47% to 45%.
