House Democrats Not Whipping Debt Ceiling Bill

According Greg Sargent, House Democratic leaders "are not whipping Dems to get them to vote for the debt deal announced yesterday, raising questions as to whether it can pass the House."

The goal seem to force Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) to produce at least 150 votes from his own caucus.

Meanwhile, Dave Weigel quotes Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) when asked if the bill would pass. "You'll have to ask the speaker. He has the majority."
